Our Third Annual Event
The Alliance of Womens Business & Professional Organization is dedicated to increasing the economic power, influence and visibility of women. This non-partisan event is designed to further our goal by :
  • Increasing knowledge of the legislative process
  • Providing examples of how organizations have used the legislative process to meet their goals
  • Providing informational forums for interactions with legislators
  • Demonstrating the strength of business and professional women in the Commonwealth
  • Establishing the Alliance and it's member organizations as resources for legislators

The session will be comprised of an attendee selected workshop and/or a luncheon program. Members will be greeted by Jamy Buchanan of The Alliance and will the retreat to one of the offered concurrent workshop groups. During the luncheon, there will be an opportunity to converse with legislators. If you are planning to participate it is important that you RSVP by July 10, 2000.

 

Please be mindful that we have designed this free program so that you may attend the workshops, the luncheon program, or both.
