NEWIRE - New England Women in Real Estate - is a non-profit
organization created in 1982 by a group of professional women to promote
the advancement of women within the commercial real estate industry. Since
that time, NEWIRE has been an important force behind the increasing success
of women in New Englandís real estate community. NEWIRE is dedicated
to expanding and increasing the diversity of its membership and welcomes
new members at any time.
NEWIRE brings together women with established careers in all segments
of commercial real estate, including Development, Finance, Marketing, Brokerage,
Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Construction, Law, Insurance, Appraisal,
Public Relations, Property and Asset Management and Corporate Real Estate.
Part of NEWIRE's value to its members lies in the access it has provided,
through its monthly speaker programs and seminar series, for women to meet
and engage in discussions with their colleagues and prominent industry
leaders from all over the country, and to keep up-to-date on industry issues.
NEWIRE recently affiliated with the National Network of Commercial Real
Estate Women (NNCREW), further enhancing national networking and learning
opportunities for its members.
